Out of Province / Out of Country

All WCBs/Commissions are able to enter into agreements with each other to avoid duplicate assessments for the same work and to aid the worker in claiming and receiving compensation when two or more jurisdictions are involved. An Interjurisdictional Agreement on Workers’ Compensation (IJA) has been developed by the AWCBC and the WCBs/Commissions in the twelve Canadian provinces and territories.
